This project resulted in a world class developer portal that brings internal developers, and partnering customers with development teams together in one place to leverage the business’s technologies.
Facilitate a design thinking design sprint to kick off the project. We validated our design artifacts with internal evaluative tests and we pushed our ideation further and scheduled evaluative sessions with the broader market to test our ideas.
My team spent 5 days moderating evaluative study sessions to get a clear understanding of what our design decisions might indicate, validate the experience, and come back to the larger design team with additional data to further ideate.
The above image shows an example of the low fidelity prototype we used in our evaluative testing.
Ideally we wanted software developers who use portals and API’s to customize solutions, and software developers who create their own solutions using those API’s. The key area’s we were looking for participants from is telematics and also third party folks.
